I enjoy it, it is JB, so has his idiosyncratic treatment. Mind you I may be biased as a big fan of the song writer and the cover artist. JB's voice makes me pay attention. His father was a great singer too...
I like it... good but not great. Just returned from the superb Neil Young/Patti Smith concert in Nimes...Neil taking time out from the rockin' to cover Blowin'in the Wind and a great audience that had no need or desire for greatest hits or community singalongs. Bravo!
Thanks for posting. In my humble opinion it's ok, but just too personal to Dylan to be covered safely! I mean how can he sing of someone else's pain like that!?

ReplyDeleteI hate it. I've always thought Buckley Jnr was self-indulgent and undisciplined. He had the voice, but wasn't a tenth the musician his father was.
